I’m sure that the title of this post has given something away, so you’ve perhaps already guessed that this ‘new shower room’ has been sometime coming.
Those of you that read my blog will already know that I’m a big fan of online shopping – what’s not to love about it? Instead of rushing through the crowds of the highstreet after work, there’s nothing better than coming home and shopping from the comfort of the beautiful living room.
As well as the many fashion items that are on offer, the Internet is also home to a wide range of interior goods. And as we’re on the subject of shower rooms, I was delighted to learn of the many showers on sale and decided to get a mixer shower from Mira Showers rather than an electric model.
You may be wondering what the difference between an electric shower and the shower you already have in place is. Well, instead of using previously stored hot water, electric showers take water from the mains cold water supply. Mixer showers go one step further and take water from both hot and cold water supplies to reach the preferred temperature with ease. They usually flow faster than electric showers and heat up relatively quickly – an asset when you have young kids who constantly seem to be covered in mud!
As the main bathroom is often chaos, with kid’s clothes, bath toys and products strewn across each and every surface, I decided that the shower room was to become my very own sanctuary.
After searching the World Wide Web for a little bathroom inspiration, I quickly learned that showers don’t have to be white and clinical.
